Agenda-1st week
Day 1, - Students fill out all "All about me" survey and turn in.
-Student Handouts: Classroom Syllabus , HW For Your Parents (sign & return), Lab Safety Contract, Academic & Behavior Contract, and Alabama Course of Study Objectives (Keep in SJ)
-Class Discussion over handouts, policies & procedures, etc.
Day 2 Turn in forms- Homework for your parents & lab safety contract.
-Collect Class/lab donations & supplies
-Student will take a diagnostic test for the ALSHGE using 90 of the sample questions issued by the state.
-Personalize a file folder for tests and returned papers
Students were given dominoes game board and asked to solve it by listing the correct tile order. (1, 11, 5 are the first 3 and Hint: Double blind study goes with tile #8)
Day 3-Interactive Lecture: Today we discussed many things associated with COS 1 & COS 5. If you were absent, print out the note-taking handout and view the powerpoint below: (video links will not be able to play from wikispaces, so you don't have to worry about them.)
HW: Study your dominoes game for your Vocabulary test & finish classwork as needed.
Day 4-Tuesday-: Turn in your Homework- late work-Dominoes Game with a gold slip.

Students defined the following terms using their dominoes game. 1. Control group 2. Experiment Group 3. Independent Variable 4. Dependent Variable and 4. Listed the steps to the scientific method.
Pre-Lab Lecture on our Lab
Students walked through the scientific method while testing Vitruvius' theory which stated" The distance from fingertip to fingertip (arm span) should be equal to one's height. One of Leonardo da Vinci's famous drawings illustrates this theory.
